The middle of a thought

from 8/20/25

and if I am to go on, differently

I would like to go well

I would like to

be able to look back

and know that

I wasn’t slothful

or complacent

but that I was grateful

for every good thing

and for the difficult,

that I moved bravely

and with intentionality

through the challenges

because it’s in those moments,

in facing the challenges

and our shadow parts

that we might step

courageously into the light.
